Pangantucan’s Municipal Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) for the year 2012-2021 is coming to an end, prompting the Municipal Planning and Development Office to commence the updating of CLUP for the year 2022-2032. The Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO) utilized the help from the Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development Office (DSHUD) with Sir Harvey A. Villegas as the focal person for the 4-module training in CLUP creation integrating Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment (CDRA). The first module training was conducted on February 22 to 24, 2021 participated by the respective department representatives held in the Municipal lobby. The training aimed to guide the different departments in their data collection and presentation, report making, physical assessment and risk identification. The final output evaluation and collection was concluded on March 15 to 16 in MGG Resort, Adtuyon.
The Municipal Planning and Development Office proceeded in organizing the second module training conducted on April 26 to 30, 2021 held in Reel Place Lorega, Kitaotao, Bukidnon. The 39 participants include the department heads and department staff in attendance. The training centralized on the identification of high-risk facilities, sectoral analysis matrix, creation of the sectoral goals and objectives and the specified actions required to achieve the established goals. The training has ended with the participation of Mayor Miguel A. Silva, Jr. adding inputs and discussing the framework of the developments he wanted to achieve for the municipality and its inclusion in the updated CLUP.
