Municipal Accounting Office
The Department is presently manned by Ten(10) personnel (4) of whom posses Civil Service Eligibilities while the rest are non career employees.
It handles the processing and recording of all transaction of the Municipality including thr pre-audit of vouchers. Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports with copies furnished to all government agencies concerned are just routinary for the department not to mention the regular remittances of premiums, contributions and amortization of employees.
This year the Department has undertaken the painstaking and tedious process of determining the details of the LGU's properly as a guide for the eventual take up if actual physical count (or inventory) of the Assets by the LGU in coordination with COA.
While there has been an apparent effort by the department to continually explore new avenues to effectively respond to the need of all concerned to include a more expedient and timely submission of reports to all the monitoring government agencies, there are still areas of concern which must be addressed particularly in the area of enter-intra LGU coordination.
